This morning I took my dog into the Grassy Park Surgery for a very simple procedure, and was told by a very disinterested vet that I must take her to another surgery for treatment, no plan, no advice. Just take her to someone else. . Probably because I was not prepared to let her stay there overnight after a very simple procedure. He did not even take the time to touch her or investigate the problem. Very dissapointing. Extremely. After all these years. I have had a stoporder on my bank account in favour of the SPCA since 1992 , only (R35 ) for 36 years, which cumulatively I think is quite a bit of money. The SPCA is also in my will for an amount of R4.,5 mill. ( part proceeds of my house). I have been very pro SPCA for my whole life, as were my parents and grand parents before me. Not anymore. Not after today. The stoporder has been cancelled and the R4.5 mill will go to another animal charity. A charity who cares about its patients and their owners. How things have changed. Sorry SPCA bur you have just screwed yourselves out of quite a large amount of money.
